A Vancouver native, Ellevan began freestyling at age 11, using it as a way to express his difficult situation at home. Soon to create a life of an independent hustle, he dropped out of high school to pursue his dream in Film & T.V.

After several successful years in acting, he moved to Los Angeles to conquer yet another desire, stand-up comedy.  While living in L.A, as a regular at The Comedy Store, Ellevan began recording his raps at home, uncovering what would prove to be a much stronger passion than stand up comedy or film. 

A serendipitous experience moved him to Toronto in 2012. He immediately saw his future in music and began performing live shows while learning the business aspect, hands on.

 

Forming his own band and crowd funding his first album, 'Numbers Don't Lie' , Ellevan grew his name as a respected song writing act among his Toronto music-peers and continues to collaborate with some of Toronto's highly respected musicians. 

 

#ThatFreestyleGuy formulated when Ellevan took on the new challenge of performing in public in summer 2015. Once building a fresh and dynamic brand for himself in the city, he took things one step further to crowd fund (again) for his first tour across the U.S.A, Goal: Reached.

 

Showing great potential in many markets, Ellevan is an organically blossoming brand with an incredibly unmatched skill for improvised lyrical freestyle. As his social media following continues to increase, the message stays strong and the performance even stronger.

Turning to production for his own artistry, Ellevan has been producing popular songs for influencers and writing for platinum artists alike. What better way to expand his abilities then to teach and learn at the same time?

since January 1st 2018, Ellevan has released a song and a music video for it, every. single. day. in partnership with Mc2 Music Media. Something that has never been attempted or achieved before.
